‘Specular Spectacular (Guangzhou)’

This large scale site specific installation was made onsite working with a local welder. The steel and mirror structures were designed for the space, and then covered with a layer of air-drying clay, squeezed and pressed over the metal by myself and a small group of local women.

This 'touched' surface was silver leafed to emphasise the human interactions, creating a seductive territory for ceramic and glass sculptures, and in turn the audience.
