UK Visual Arts Residency,
Cove Park, Scotland
June–July 2014

I was invited to spend five weeks at Cove Park developing retro-reflective ‘fugitive’ objects.

You most commonly see retro-reflective material on cycling jackets and safety wear, it is the dull, grey surface that illuminates when caught in a car headlamp’s beam. A distinctly contemporary material it has no content of its own, but is designed to directly send back what it receives.
